  • Pro RR hardtail neck spec

looking to get one of these
    http://www.jacksonguitars.com/series...erboard-black/
    with EMG
    or these
    http://www.jacksonguitars.com/series...d-gloss-black/
    with duncans
The specs on jackson site state that the EMG version has speed neck (i assume this is the same shape as the pro king V models? o_o ) while the Duncan version has 0.775-0.835''(3rd fret to 12th fret) neck ( the classic rhoad shape is somewhat 790-850'')
So does it mean that the Duncan version also has the speed neck like the EMG one? Some store sites state that these RRT have the classic rhoad shaped neck
The specs on jackson site r so messy :think:
Im really confused right now i prefer the Duncan one but cant live w/o the speed neck

Hopefully, someone with first hand experience can answer your question. All I can say is, the measurements 0.775-0.835 are the dimensions of the speed neck, so it would seem the Duncan Rhoads would have the speed neck.

That said, Jackson often prints specs which contain errors, and I expect dealer specs can't be fully relied on either.
    96xxxxx, 97xxxxx and 98xxxxx serials oftentimes don't indicate '96, '97 and '98.
