    The neck plates on bolt-on-neck does not have the stamped on to the neck plates.

    It's a Dinky Reverse made exclusively for Musician's Friend in the late '90s. I used to have one of those bodies.

      Taiwan, JS series, 1996ish.
      96xxxxx, 97xxxxx and 98xxxxx serials oftentimes don't indicate '96, '97 and '98.

        Pretty sure toejam is right. That was my first Jackson, and my first post here years ago asking what it was. Model was called a JDR-Pro.

          Yeah, not sure if there was an actual series for the JDR Pro.
          That Taiwanese number format is one of the least seen formats. I've read on here they were for circa '96, but I don't know for sure.
          96xxxxx, 97xxxxx and 98xxxxx serials oftentimes don't indicate '96, '97 and '98.

            Thank you guys! I was really unsure why the neck plate didn't carry the Jackson Logo and the serial number - well i guess i'm mistaken. You guys are awesome a humble newbie appreciates your wisdom!
