  • some small mods to my RRTMG

I like the black with hints of gold hardware and I'm probably going to pinstripe with metallic gold soon. Here's what I did..
-Duncan JB8 bridge (JB with an Alnico 8 magnet) and a '59 neck
-Me and a friend made brass saddles for the TOM
-TUSQ XL nut. PT-6225-00 is an exact direct fit. Didn't even need to sand down for height or width..
-Wilkinson EZ-Lock tuners (direct swap, both JIN-HO. Jacksons say R3, these say R1-4)
-Gold switch tip and knobs. (switch is 3.5mm for anyone looking)

All set up and plays great! JB8 has about the same amount but tighter low end than my Custom8. And more mids with smooth highs. Loving it so far..

Yup... The ground wire from the bridge is there already.

That is very nice indeed. Nothing looks better than a smal amount of brass hardware on a black rhoads. Imo
