After what seemed like the longest day ever, the UPS driver made his last delivery of the day.....me.

Here's my newest toy! Got it really cheap on a closeout blowout brand new.

So far I have to say I really like this guitar. It plays pretty effortlessly and is pretty lightweight. I will be changing out the pickups with something else, but haven't decided what yet. I don't think I'll have to changw anything else.

Ya know, a lot of people talk a lot of trash about FMIC, but I gotta say the imports have been getting better and better. Both this and the JS22-7 I bought a couple months ago are pretty badass!
Transitioning from Retired Musician from cover bands to a Full time vocalist/frontman/guitarist in an original and covers band....it's been a while and this should get NASTY!

    Awesome, congrats.

I'm a big fan of the Chinese stuff, they really are pretty good & at that price, how could anyone complain. The latest JS stuff is remarkable.

I take it those are Dunlop strap locks?

btw, looks great. I'm all about the string thru bridges.
My only JS model is a 2010 Indian made JS3 bass and I can't find a single fault with it. $299 new. Never needs a truss adjustment...unlike my MIJ and USA guitars which need 4-5 adjustments a year because of my climate.

Can't make out the sticker, does it say made in India?

      96xxxxx, 97xxxxx and 98xxxxx serials oftentimes don't indicate '96, '97 and '98.

That is really nice.....congrats. BUT it is distracting you from completing the BCR hanging in the background - and I wanna see how that turns out!

Nice! I have the black one, put a JB/59 combo in it and it's a really great guitar.

LOL! I actually have been doing some detailed sanding on the BCR along the seem edges of the maple veneer just to make it perfectly smooth so I probably won't have another update there for a little while.

This guitar is pretty awesome tho. I really don't care for the HZ's so I'm deciding what to swap to, either passive JB/59 or Mustaine Livewires. For now it's a great player. I especially like the new taper it has where the neck joint and the body meet as you can see in the photo above.
