i got a lead on one for cheap(i think) and was wondering how some owners feel about em?

eh well since no one has any input i just pulled the trigger. i mean, for $225 i cant really lose.
so heres my thoughts, it feels super light and although my old rhoads pro felt light, this feels almost toy like. frets are nice, no sharp edges on this one. the duncan designed pickups sound better in this than any other dd equipped guitars ive played. truss needed very minor adjustment.
playability-very fast feeling guitar. balances nicely.

Couldn't go wrong for that price. Been wondering how solid those would feel. I have only felt one Basswood guitar that had any weight to it and didn't feel like a toy (Ibanez RGT6EXFX). Have veered away from basswood since.Every man dies... Not every man really lives!!Comment

I got one of the x series dinkys for around the same price and thought it was a good purchase. Had a pup swap which is one of the main complaints on this series. Is yours solid color?Comment

yes its solid black. i had a dkxt and the humbucker routes were too small. i had to rip the pickups out cause the tabs dug into the wood. this seems alot better. guess they must be hit or miss. i spent about 30 min fine tuning the action and now it feels alot better. still light as a feather. maybe i need one of those death angel buttplugs lolComment

Nice. I had a 2000 and 2004 RR1T (alder bodies), and both of those were also pretty light.

I've had 3 in my store. All very light, and with very consistent neck profiles. Interesting neck profile as well, almost feels like a DK2 neck. The Jackson site lists these as having 24 frets. I'd think very seriously about getting one (or the RRXMG) with 24 frets, but I see your pic and, looking at some on ebay they all have 22 frets too.
