Rhoads EX + DK2 SKL Body

Picked up a Rhoads EX @ a local pawn shop, Needed some love..


Scored this DK2 SKL body from Mom' Music



After a cleanup & some pinstripe tape, Still needs tremolo arm.

Ibanez SR300

The Rhoads has the JH-3 in the bridge & J50N in the neck & sounds pretty good..
I blocked the trem with a modded old strats trem plate to only pull flat & now it has more sustain & stability & can be drop Dtuned via the low E fine tuner..

Also picked up a Ibanez SDGR SR300
Bass has a 5 piece neck, active pickups & is just sweet to play, I just gave my Charvel 2B to my oldest son..


Now I need a DK2 neck for the Pile of Skulls body & have picked up a P-Rail & two Fender Robert Cray Pickups plus two Push/Pull Pots for that project..

Yup!! And that's a Jewelry Box NewC.. I will tighten them handles up for the Mrs.

I forgot to say that the Rhoads came in a Fine Case & the DK2 Body came with the tremolo.
I mounted the pickups & pots + switch..

Rhoads Blocked Tremolo Now Setup with .010"s, Had to add two springs..


Here's a guitar my Son found in the trash up the road, I made the bridge myself!! I check that guys garbage every week, In fact it's trash night....
