  • Current Jackson DK2M SB

Does anyone know where these are made now? I already bought and returned a 7 string Jackson import which was made in Indonesia I believe for being so poor. It was the SLATQM something or other.

Anyway... Anyone own one of these?

I believe those are Japan, but I am most likely wrong.

However, I have played one (at GC smh) and it was pretty nice.

Mexico, there's no more Jacksons from Japan, the Elites were the final series.

IIRC, the new Mexico-built ones have the plain-Jane dot inlays? Not a
sound/playability factor, but does make them ugly. OTOH, I've got a
recent MIM Strat, and it kills my US-built one. So hopefully, you won't
have any quality issues with your DK2M. Does the same factory build
        Fenders and Jacksons, anyone?

Search for used ones made in Japan.
