Jackson "old" DK2M's vs "new" DK2M's

Does anyone who has experience with the "old" MIJ DK2M had the chance to play/own one of the new made in Mexico DK2M's? How does them compare to the good old MIJ ones? Are they worthy substitutes?

I like the way the bodies look, but haven't tried one. Not a fan of the dot inlays. I preferred the fins.

Love the fins and binding. Screw the dots.

edit: didn't see until now that the new ones have binding too. Still love the original DK2M much better.

I had a flame inlay neck. Got lost on it because they were on every fret

And I thought Hel (Normway city) only had one "L"?

The flames are just to busy looking and I got lost on the board as well.
No dots is easier than flames all over the board.YMMV.
The new ones look good but in my experience I think they need to work out some issues with bad hardware that is used.
That goes for the MII and MIC Jacksons as well.
I played 3 total and the fretwork was OK not what I would call very well done but its a budget guitar.Pick ups sounded OK.
The veneer tops don't look very good to be honest again just my opinion.
Its a budget guitar so it is what it is.

Weird, I never get lost. But then most of my instruments don't have inlays so I tend to ignore them anyway. And it's usually a cold day in Hel, Norway, so maybe I will get my hands on one soon!
