My best guess is one of these '84 vanguard bodies
With a jackson js series neck plus a trem and tuners off of some POS
Heres his pic for an easier comparison

I'm from Tennessee, don't make me think so hard.
Turn the volume to 10 and rip off the knob!

The neck looks pretty legit, minus the tuners and trussrod cover of course. The headstock is right, the logo looks right too, has it got a scarf joint? I don't think anyone would go to so much trouble to counterfeit a JS series or similar low end model. The body is definitely not a Jackson though so i vote parts mutt.
It's all about the blues-rock chatter.

There was the charvel avenger which had a recessed trem route, slanted hum and single coil at the neck. I really think the body is what I posted^^ cause the control layout is similar and the trem is non recessed which would make it easy to swap for whats on the OP's. Also the trem to bridge humbucker space looks right.

From what I can tell it is a nonrecessed trem so for dive only and maybe a little space of pull but really just enough to make the trem float.

Wellll, if we go with the idea the body didn't come with the neck and we ignore the stamp as any kind of date the body could be from any of the RR knock offs from the 80's or 90's.

True. The main reason I think the kramer cause of the control layout and trem to bridge pickup spacing. Maybe someone else can chime in and confirm if that kramer is non recessed. Im on my phone so pics are only so clear when I zoom in.

So, this thread had me wondering about all the crazy mutts out there. My conclusion at this point boils down to two things. IMC and HONDO. IMC was producing the Hondo brand at the same time they bought Charvel/Jackson. They appear to have produced both brands, as well as some others at the same korean plant. one of the Samick plants is where my research is pointing but Cort could have been involved. I found an image of a Hondo formula I with a Jackson shaped head on it.
Here are a couple of pics i googled up.
Pretty sure IMC was just throwing Jacksons together in korea to see what would sell.

That might also explain the "missing records" of overseas serial numbers that I've read about from the sale to Fender.

I doubt the koreans making pointy headstock guitars would explain missing records
