It's very easy to bond with a Jackson neck. That's why a lot of us are here.
There's not a whole lot of difference (IMHO) between your guitar and the KE3, especially if you swap out the pickups.
I'd say keep it and enjoy it. Not a bad price on a decent guitar in fantastic shape.

snake_pearson, my very first "decent" guitar was a Kelly JK20, which had the unbranded JT-500. It's exactly the same, just the spot where "Jackson" is typically stamped is just a blank oval.
My Gear: Stoneman SG-1, Hufschmid Tantalum H6, ESP KH-6, Sully #8 JCF One-Off, Templar GuitarWorks Relic Prototype, James Hetfield Tribal Hunt KL Explorer, Coobeetsa CCG-10-DX PRO Eagle, Schecter Hellraiser C-1 Hybrid, Daly Heiro Custom, Gibson Les Paul Custom, Gibson SG Menace, Peavey Vypyr 60 Tube

It is probably kind of stupid but I have this thing about wanting a US or Japanese-made guitar. Plus I just think the red flame top with black edges on the KE3 is gorgeous. I just have to find one. In the meantime I'm enjoying my KX10D. I was so close to buying a Peavey Rotor when I found this one. I think I made the right choice.

Oh okay, I think I've seen those before now that you mention it.

killxswitch, of course you made the right choice! If you had gone with the Peavey, you never would have met us!

I am feeling the Jackson love. I gotta say my speed picking practice has really improved with this guitar.
