  • Help - Identify imported Jackson Rhoads Std and review

Hi, Recently I bought a JacksonRhoads Std, Series J400754. Basically I read that is manufactured in Japan in 1994. I would like to know more about, if you want to help me.
I would like to hear opinions on this guitar has good sustain, compared with ESP M-2, is better?..every detail is welcome

PS: I read these posts http://audiozone.dk/index-filer/Trem...ject.htm#jt580 but want more
    Thank you very much

Well, you have done some research, yes it's 1994 Japanese, those strings are wound strangely, they should all go around the bottom like the 2nd one, there is way too much string wound around there, check out http://audiozone.dk/index-filer/jack...ries_1990-1995

for the specs on your guitar.

yup what he said. audiozone is probably the most complete source of jackson info you can find. as far as sustain, i cannot comment as i've only owned a few esp's. i will say when i had my rhoads pro i found it to be fuller sounding with passive pickups. actives made it sound a lil thin, but using an emg 85 at the bridge may beef it up a lil. great guitar. mind if i ask what you paid for it?

Oh, that's a nice one. Not too keen on those dot markers, but it's a beauty anyway. Now go and clean out that rust and shit from the frets!
