  • Quick question

The volume pot on my COW was cutting in and out, there was quite a lot of play in the shaft. So I pulled the back cover off to change it and found the ground wire from the bridge had also broken off at the solder. I didn't think that active pickups required a bridge ground?? I swapped the Duncans in my DK2M for EMG's and I never put the ground in and it worked fine.

You don't need the ground wire. I'm not sure why, but they always hook it up on Jacksons with actives.
