  • Help ID this Jackson Dinky Reverse Pro

I'm looking at buying this guitar, but I'm trying to figure out if it is part of the "golded" era of Jackson Pro imports.

serial number is 403154, the seller thinks it is around '93-95

I know it's a crapshoot to ID these things, but maybe somebody here can help. I checked the jackson pro guide here http://audiozone.dk/index-filer/jack...ofessional.htm But the dinky reverse is not listed as coming in blue(only trans or BW), but I'm not sure if that list has all the colors made as the scans for those years show more color options.
I'm going to ask the seller for a closeup pic of the headstock, to check if it has Pro on the truss rod cover(I read that that would be on Pros from 93-93).

    Thanks for any help!

Serial number indicates it was made in 1994.

Thanks! I'm guessing this is an absolute steal at $200. I've wanted a jackson with shark tails, but I think I can do without them for this axe.

Nice for 200 bucks thats a steal. Great guitars, plus it looks like it's signed by Phil Colin too. Doesnt increase its value but still kinda cool.

            Shark Tails

And that model is actually more commonly seen in that crapass Fleckstone finish everyone goes apeshit for.

I had one, couldn't stand the neck.

I have one in purple...and one in flat blue (ash), and I love the necks. Great guitars. I'm gonna pick one up with a maple neck. And $200 is a great price!

ha, thanks for the input guys, going to pick it up tonight. Yea it is signed by phil, that doesn't do anything for me though.

Sorry about the shark tails, ha, I was thinking I was calling them by the wrong name, instinct told me sharkies but that looked a little silly.

I've wanted a jackson since I first decided to start guitar(less than a year ago), finally getting one with my third guitar. Not sure it will outdo my ltd H-302, the neck thru is quite nice, but I don't have a guitar with a trem and I've kinda wanted to play around with one.

Yup. I have the EXACT same guitar. Dinky Rev. on the truss rod cover and Professional on the headstock. Not impressed with the p/u's though...looking for a JB.
8 strings? Because 6 is too easy?
