DKMG or DXMG often ID'd wrong?

I think I've been giving wrong info that I've gleaned from past ebay/craigslist ads. I've seen a bunch that are listed as a DKMG but are flat top, sharkies, and EMG HZ's. I was just looking through scans and I think I see that these are actually DXMG's. The DKMG's start in 2002 (AT, pirannhas, HZ's with turbocharger (then 81/85 later) and some think their DXMG is a DKMG.... Does that sound right?

DKMG is archtop/piranhas, DXMG is flat/sharkfins. Pickups on both were EMG-HZ and then EMG 81/85.

I see it all the time on ebay and guitarcenter online. Drives me crazy.

Lesson learned: do not believe eBay and especially CL ads!
