Snagged off the bay, seller listed it as a DK2 Pro. I know it's MIJ, Liscenced FR block is stamped with Takguechi (sp?) Duncan Designed HB/S/S. Satin finished hardware. Thought it was a 1996, but after reading about the serials from that time I'm not so sure now. Anyone got an idea on the specifics on this one ?

I'm not sure what you need to know but I posted in this thread about a DK2 I recently purchased that looks a lot like that one---amberburst with satin hardware including satin knobs. Your Takeuchi trem probably has a slightly wider baseplate than the other JT580LP's so an OFR should be a direct fit although there will be irregular gaps in the route. Also, the Takeuchi block did not have the standard 17 mm spacing for the block-to-baseplate screws so any attempt to upgrade the block could be difficult. You should take the neck off next time you change strings because a lot of info should be printed in the neck heel and pocket.

So i had my DKMG and My Kelly STD setup today, and when we took the neck off both, neither had a serial that we could find, does that happen alot?
