      The pic isn't very good, but I think it is a J-man. Price is ~ $415, which would be too high over here. No idea if that's reasonable for the UK.

            Cheers gents my mate put 2 kent armstrong humbuckers in it,he reckons its late 80s or early 90s.The price was around $250 with the upgrades.

                Is there any way to get some better pics to post, especially with the whole headstock? The more I look at it, the less sure I am about it. For example, look at how far apart the fretboard dots are compared to the guitars in the '02 catalog.







                You usually see wide dots like that on Korean (or possibly even Chinese) mid-'90s Charvels from what I've read around here, but then I don't think that logo would be right for that timeframe... :think: Other differences are the two string retainers vs. 1 and the different color nut.

                  This might be a match. A CHS-3 from '94 - '95. Wide-spaced dots, 2 string retainers, same color nut, and it has a guitar-shaped logo.
