    i picked up this japanese charvel, but have no info on it. can someone please tell me the model type, and if so the value range.

    The color is called "Desert Crackle".

      I'm gonna say 1989 Charvel 475 Special, Desert Crackle finish. The 650XL was 24 fret:

          thanks for responding so quickly. i have a person interested in it here in canada, saying maybe $350. is that a fair price? or should i open it up to the internet for sale.

              I'd say that's a fair price.

              You might get a little more on ebay, but you might loose money in ebay and paypal fees.

                I knew I was missing some details.

                As far as $350, that's about what they've been going for on Ebay with a hardshell case.

                        Seems like a 375 Dlx in desert crackle finish, I ve got one just like it but with dots instead of shark fins!

                              in those charvel catalog scans whats that pinkish color on the 275 deluxe and the orangeish color on the 475 deluxe and is the charvel 575 bass pearl red
