750xl owners, what case fits???

I don't have the original Charvel case and I am having a hell of a time finding one that fits. I have called several Jackson Dealers about getting a Jackson SLATQ case and that act like they have never heard of a arch top Jackson? Just Crazy!

Any other suggestions that you have tried and the 750 fit?

I am going to try out an SKB66 tomorrow, I think that may work, I will report back.

I have squeezed one into a regular soloist case . It should not hurt if do not store for a long period of time. I have also put one in a univeral Gator case.

I've tried like hell to look at every piece of literature to find the correct JC part number for my 750 - no luck. I have a number of grey and black chainsaw cases - too tight IMO. But in the day there HAD TO BE a case that fit. Let's see....for Charvels in 89 you could get a black toothpaste chainsaw case. In 1990 I believe they started the Jackson Pro type rectangular case with the new "Circle" stenciled logo...that may fit but is not strictly "period correct" [don't hit me, I'm fragile...LOL!]. I dunno...I'd like to stick it some type of JC case.....

Oh, I also thought about "carving" out some styrofoam in the area of the bridge on a chainsaw case....may be worth a try.

I tried an SKB66, Gator, no go. Unless I start cutting into the foam on the top it's not fitting. This really blows. I went to Sam Ash as they have a Import Arch top Jackson I hoped the 750 would fit in that case but the body is much thinner than the 750xl. I have a black charvel toothpaste logo HSC for my 375dx, it will not close with the 750 in there.

The orig case for my 750 died - was a grey chainsaw case. Seems to fit in an AT-1 case pretty well...

Mine has the original case. It's black with the toothpsaste logo, and it's about 1/2" - 3/4" thicker (deeper) than my gray Model Series chainsaw cases. That guitar doesn't fit in either a Model Series neckthrough case or one for a full-size strat. It's way too thick.

I have the same problem my 750XL case is held together buy Duck Tape I am going to look int a TDK case in the future.

Titan was asking me and I tried fitting your old 750XL into a Soloist case. I chickened out - I think it's too tight personally.

Well, I am going to pick up the closest fitting case and mod it to fit as I don't see a OEM 750XL case in my future, I am not that lucky.

Get a flight case with foam in it that you cut to shape yourself.
