  • difference from model numbers?

Hi I have a charvel jackson model 4 guitar and I am wondering the difference
in quality from the model 3 to 2 to 1? Is there a big difference? And is the
model 5 and 6 far superior to the others? How about the charvel jackson bass
guitar is it a good quality bass guitar? And what do you think a model 1 is worth? Thanks Nickster

They're all around the same quality, they just have different specs.

Quality is pretty consistent across the models. The price differences are based on features and construction and parts used. Model 5 & 6 are neck thrus. Back in the day, the least expensive was the Model 1 at $449.95, the most expensive was the Model 6 at $1149.95, while your Model 4 was $899.95.

Model 1's today go anywhere from $175 to $300 depending on condition, case, and what people are willing to pay at the time.

As Stracat said, since these are made in Japan, your question should have been in the Charvel Import section.
