It's a kick ass amp! Sounds really cool. There are a few members here who have/have had them.

Well thank you so much all. Dana has to be one of the classiest people you could ever deal with and it was a pleasure working on his guitar for him. He and I have completed so many deals now it's crazy. Thanks for the great words Dana and it looks terrific!

                        Dana, she looks GREAT!

Of course we all know (including myself) how great Dave's service and parts are!

That really looks good with the brass!

OT: How does that RedBear compare to other amps?

Thanks guys! I really love the guitar, and Dave made it even better! Thanks for the kind words Dave. You too are a class act!

PAV...the speakers in the Carvin cab are actually speakers from an older Carvin cab that was made in the 70's. I took them out and put 'em in there. They are called CTS speakers, I think, and they have like a logo on the magnet that has a crown or something like that. Those are the aluminum center speakers. The one that is black is a limited edition Celestion something or other that is only in there to protect it. It's not actually hooked up.

KidPredator...I really like the Red Bear amp. To me, it sounds very similar to my old Marshall Super leads from the early 70's. It is 60 watts, and the speakers are 30-watt Celestions, but not Greenbacks. The Red Bear amps have been discontinued some time back, and there really aren't that many around. They were made in the Soviet Union, and I believe they were originally distributed by Gibson here in this country. Cool thing about it is that they don't cost that much at all. So you can get a cool Marshall type sound for a lot less money. I'd tell you what I paid for it, but you'd never believe me.
