        I don't have full specs, but if it will help, 99% of the bolt-on import Charvels had basswood bodies. The 475 definitely did, & I'm pretty sure the Spectrum did as well. Electronics in the 475 were a J50BC pickup in the bridge and 2 J200 stacked humbuckers coupled with the JE-1200 active midboost circuit.         IIRC, the Spectrum was loosely based on a custom Soloist designed for Jeff Beck. In 1988, they released a very small number of Model 8s, which later became the Spectrum model.

                Most of the 475's were made of poplar for body wood, maple for the neck, and rosewood for the fingerboard. An easy way to differentiate the 1989/90 ones from the 91's is the size of the humbucker ring. Those oversized Jackson rings were used on the originals, but by 1991 they were standard sized.
