  • How much for a modern day 750xl

Has anyone priced out what this would cost from the custom shop? They don't appear to make a product that is very similar...

It's an archtop Soloist. Through the CS I'd venture to say it's about $2500.

So an archtop soloist would be a 24.75" scale? Would have a beefy body like the 750? My SLATQH isn't even close to being similar to my 750xl...

I refer to the originals, the SLAT is a relatively new variation on the idea. It's body is thinner and the neck is, I believe, through the body and not set in. All you'd have to do is tell the CS you want a 750 and give them the specks. They built them before, they can do them again. 24 3/4 inch scale, rosewood board, 24 jumbo frets, reverse sharkfin inlay, set in necks, dual hums, 5 way switch, trem or string through, neck/headstock binding, and arched maple top with mahogany back. That's pretty much it.
