  • Help identifying charvel

    Does anyone know what model this is? I haven't seen another like it anywhere or in any catalogs. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

    That's an LS-1. They were made around '92 and have the same body as the Jackson Infinity from the same period. The Infinity had a pointy headstock & diamond inlays rather than the "gumby" headstock. I think it's pretty cool, especially the goldtop.

        Charvel LS-1.
        Made in Japan, introduced in 1992, discontinued in 1996.

        Pickups: (should be)[*]Neck: Jackson J50M[*]Bridge: Jackson J92C

        Controls:Volume, Tone, 3-Way toggle switch

        Woods: Body: Mahogany, Neck: Mahogany (set-neck construction)

        Hardware: JT390 Tunamatic with strings thru body, Die cast Gotoh tuners
