It's an STX Custom that somehow ended up with a different headstock.

You positive? It still has wrappin on the guitar. Looks pretty mint.

Do you think that's new? Something that has been built within the last couple of years?
Charvel has not used that logo style or headstock in several years. It is NOT a brand new guitar. In the last thread you started, we were speculating on two different models that were both quite old.
Re: Ok, here are soem pics.....help me ID this....
$350? I've seen a few of those (ok, a little worn, not minty) for $100 and up in pawn shops in the Oklahoma area. I wouldn't pay a dime over $200 for it if it was mint, personally.
Re: Ok, here are soem pics.....help me ID this....
it still has the plastic on the pickgard, if it's NOS and you're gonna play it for quite a while, it's easily worth $300...but to resell? nah, $200 at best...
Re: Ok, here are soem pics.....help me ID this....
I remeber the catalog picks of some of those ST series ones in maybe 91-92 and I know they didn't have the really ugly pointy headstocks-they had something vaguely stratty like the one above, but I don't recall them having FLoyds. The CX ones form the mid nineties also had that pseudo-strat like headstock, but I don't recall any of them having a pearloid pickguard or transparent finishes. Is it possible the guitar has received a new PG and that is why it still has the plastic? just a few ideas...
