I have a late 80's early 90's Model 2 that has the German Schaller in it. I'm trying to identify what material the block is made of. It's silver in color, 42 mm and has US pat pending and numbers stamped into it. I'm not familiar enough to know if this a stock setup or if the block was replaced. Any help is appreciated. Thanks.

Not something you see very often. No idea what material the block is made of. Definitely wasn't a stock setup though as the '86 came with the Kahler 2520 Fulcrum and '87-'88 had the Jackson JT-6 on it. The JT-6 uses proper Floyd Rose post spacing so odds are yours originally had a JT-6. Kahler has much narrower post spacing and a Floyd won't drop in unless it's doweled and drilled for Floyd post spacing. They only thing that drops in on the Kahler is a Kahler 2700 Killer which is hard to find. Pictures would help, but most people used the JT-6 posts on their Floyd swaps.Last edited by Razor; 05-13-2025, 06:09 PM.
