  • Pro mod Model A QMT

Ive had my 2002 pro mod Model A QMT for a wile now and since ejecting the SD Livewires (Which weren’t very musical and interfered with my wireless setup) I’ve tried various others (SD JB/Jazz, EMG Hz, Gibson Burstbuckers and others) but nothing quite gives me the hard, biting, harmonics that I want, except the Bare Knuckle P90s I’ve got in it at the moment.
Having said that, I’d Like a bit more tonal range and wandered if anyone has tried Lace Alumitone HBs in one?

Harmonics are more about how you do it, not what amplifies it. new strings would probably help the most. if you want to try and cheat good technique, lots of gain, turn up the mids and treble. As for pickups the hotter the better. active like Emg.
