Hi, so i am about to get what i think is a 1986 model 4. sorry no pictures yet, but my question is did some 86's come with the JT-6.
this one has the dot inlays and a JT-6, i was under the impression the 86 model 4's had the kahler.

Possible the neck was swapped?

Generally:

Dots and Kahler = 1986

Sharkfins and JT6 = 1987-1989

So i was going to be trading a 2008 USA So Cal and getting some cash on top, but i've cancelled the deal, i'm pretty sure the neck has been swapped.
