  • Van Halen - I'm The One

What's up guys! Just testing the new cab pack by OwnHammer, based on a 1971 "basketweave" Marshall 1960B loaded with pre-Rola Celestion G12M-25's! Absolutely love these IRs!!

    Nicely done!
Love the tone too... I'd say you nailed it.

Great job! I needed to see and hear this. I started to learn this song but could not get the feel of the opening riff so I would go on to another VH song. This video has inspired me to go back and work it out.

            BTW...what pickups are you using?
No honey, I have always had this Jackson....

He always nails the tones with the equipment PLUS the intangible: his hands.
I am not a home recording guy but I have wondered if the AXE-FX is worth the investment for a live rig. I have a MOSValve 962 laying around doing nothing.

thanks a lot! Definitely worth it, although if you're planning to use it mostly live I'd suggest you to go for the AX8... it's basically the AxeFx2 in a pedalboard form, way more practical for live use, and cheaper!
