  • Charvette 170

    Hello Forum!

Recently I have got the opportunity to buy a Charvette 170 in perfect condition. The question is: is ~190 USD a good price for it?

    Thanks a lot!

Edit: I took a better look to the pic and it looks like the headstock has been repaired

According to http://audiozone.dk/index-filer/char...apan_1986-1991, the Charvette 170 was made in Japan. So it's probably one of the better Charvettes.

At USD$190, I would only buy it if I really wanted it. The alternative is that USD$190 can get you a proper Japanese Charvel Model Series guitar from the late 1980s or a Japanese Jackson Pro Series guitar from the 2000s. Examples of them being very inexpensive can be tracked here: https://www.jcfonline.com/forums/16-E-fraid-of-E-bay

Sold this quickly, with a headstock repair, for USD$190? Who is the enthusiastic buyer? I have an igloo in Central America I would like to sell him.
