Question regarding Japan Charvel Necks

Happy to agree that we have resolved the issue. I have also been in touch with the original seller and am hoping for a response - I'm not sure that I was deliberately scammed, just a lack of due diligence and with the body and hardware being genuine I am tending to think that this was not a fake in the Chinese rip you off sense but more likely an aftermarket part being used to repair a broken neck. If this was known and not declared when I bought the instrument I will be trying to take further action, though how far I would get is another matter.

I lived in china for six looong years, I seen a 'lot' of fakes. I just want to say if the fret ends are backfilled, I bet it isn’t fake. If the neck is quatersawn (check the end grain)… ain’t no way its fake…. Just saying
