Any one know anything about these Made in japan in the early 90's
    what is the quality ?

I have a CX592. Great guitar, currently in pieces on my bench getting refurbished - rewired with Seymour Duncan Full Shred, Hot Rails, and Jazz pickups, stainless steel frets are about to go in, and hardware changed to black, and re-routed to suit a Floyd Rose. I bought this guitar new in '94, did a few gigs with it. I always thought the quality was pretty good, but the trem sucks! My trem block destroyed itself! I picked up the guitar one day to play it to find the trem just swingin' in the breeze! The block had broken through, as it is pretty thin is places due to the fine tuning system (well, that's my theory!). I've read similar stories online.

Here's the Jackson Charvel Catalog page from '92:

The neck doesn't feel as thin as my Jackson DK2, but it's not a compound radius. Mine is 16" radius.
