NGD 89 Charvel 275 Deluxe (I think)

snagged this one on CL for 225.00, mint shape, no dings, red pearl color with metal flakes, it has a replacement bridge on it,dragonfire rail in neck, mighty mite mother bucker in bridge, the 2 match up well together, and both are very hot pick ups, should this have a JT-6 or 590 on it? I'll probably swap out bridge later, thanks all, heres some pics, sorry there not the best, but ya get the basic idea of it, later all

If it is a 275, which I think it is, that trem is a single-locking Floyd.

Hey brother Don, whats up!! It's a lics by floyd, but has no name on it, it has the long studs, like the original floyds, stays in tune well, and has a big brass block on it, only time will tell if thats a plus or minus, I got 2 fusions in the stable, just got one in Michigan from Harold Model5fx (thanks Harold) and its almost same color as the one I put together,(both blue) love those Fusions, this 275 is cool, but I got it for trade material mostly, hint, hint, thanks for the reply guys, later Jeff

Hey Mark, thanks for the reply, this is a double locking floyd, my fusion has the single locking Schaller speed loader trem, and I actually like it quite a bit, but I dont use the trem an awful lot, mostly for accents here and there(Vai I'm not), later Jeff

That's very odd. I asked about the trem on the 275 because I thought it was a single locking (but not).

And the Fusion has a single locking? That's odd too. Congrats on it, looks similar to my Fusion Deluxe. Mine might be a tad darker blue.

The Fusion I built from parts has the single locking Schaller speed loader,cause its what he gave me in the deal, the one I got from Harold has the Schaller 590 double locking on it, you don't have a 590 you'd let go of do you? thanks Jeff

Sorry, all JT-590's are in use on the guitars.

I took a closer look at your trem, and it does NOT appear to be a shit trem, so why swap? If you really want to swap, since it's a top mount you can put nearly anything in there, including an OFR.

Seems to be the same guitar as yours (for $499), but the trem is a CHROME JT-6! How cool is that? I don't know about other people, but almost all JT-6 trems I see are black.

I saw that one, when browsing the BAY, yesterday, 499 seems a little ridiculous to me , but its a free world, and people can ask what ever they want I guess, i agree 'Im more partial to the Chrome, than the black, this trem isn't a junk trem, seems to stay in tune and functions fine, just would prefer to have a Schaller or Floyd on it, Im glad it doesnt have the JT-6, not real found of them, thanks for the reply, later Jeff
