why no primer scream wildcard love?

Have opportunity to pick up a new wildcard 7 for under $740 shipped. Wonder if any of you own one? i dig the HS layout and the ebony fretboard . the color scheme looks ok to me (not a showstopper)..

are these selling poorly? if so maybe ill hold on until they get clearanced at sam ash.

how do they sound compared to a wildcard dead calm aqua or the usa san dimas?

Aqua's were blown out of Sam Ass last August for $495 with case. So OP, ask yourself: is $740 really a good deal?

i snagged one of those $495 blowouts.. it is unlikely to happen again in the future . i was at right place at right time so that price is not an absolute "given" that i can count on.

Same here. PATIENTLY waiting for the Chrome rod Wildcard. Supposedly we'll start seeing them here after NAMM at the end of this week.

screw it.. i just ordered the chrome rod that squid music had in stock. Jay's a cool dude by the way.. will post some pics when it shows up. curious how the 85 sounds in the bridge...

Squid is great to work with. They even emailed me some gorgeous high resolution progress pics of the promod they were working on for me. Very cool guys and the setup was outstanding.
