    Yep, definitely a JT570. They're actually not that bad, but it definitely won't hold tune as well as a double-locking unit.

      I saw the info about ,converting it to a double locking unit ,it seems to be better quality than the jt6 ,but i know very little but i am learning thanks to u guys

        I'd say leave the JT6...have two Charvel's with them and they have never disappointed. They stay in tune great, and do all of the tricks the other Floyds can do.

          If you use the JT570 i want dibbs on the JT6. i have uses for it.

                +1, and you can pick them up on the bay dirt cheap, although I think the word is getting out. I hit the BIN on one for $57 and I think I might have paid too much, but it came with the bar that I needed.
