Another Charvel to the Collection

Just picked this 550XL up locally different bridge pick up no nicks or dents, best part, it was only $370.

How do you like that pickup in the bridge?

Yeah it rocks its a nice sound on clean and dirty. The neck pickup is very weak in comparision

Yes, different sounding from the normal Charvel factory pups, but I quite like this guitar, keep picking it up when I go to play and I do have one or two guitars( make that 36 )

Nice guitar, color is odd. What color would you call that?

The pic's aren't that good, sort of a dark blue metalic color.

Just stripped this guitar out today for a test. Removed neck and bridge pickup and the 3 way switch. I then fitted a new volume pot and then fitted a Dimarzio Fred pickup. This pickup in a set neck is pretty bloody good.

I had a sweet 650xl in that same color. It has chrome hw, EMG's, and a D-Tuna. She was very photogenic like her little sister you've got there. Nice git!

I have one just like it, As for the front pickup, when I got mine it was wired single coil so I rewired it and it is a lot more powerful and fuller sounding now
I have since changed out all the hardware to black, I relly love it!
