Charvel Identity Help 650XL?

    Charvel Identity Help 650XL?

    I'm a little confused on this one. Serial indicates made in 90, so I am guessing it is a 90 650 XL or 91 650 Custom?

    I really like it, it may be priced a little high but I have gotten the guy to negotiate with me and think I may pick it up.

    The serial number C806052 is in one of the pics. I was looking at another one for 600.00 but it has a couple dings and isn't nearly as clean as this one.

    The serial number (C806052) makes it late 88/early 89 vintage, not 1990 or 1991.
    I love the silly claim that this was the predecessor to the SL1. That gave me a good laugh.
    $1k... nope. $600 - $700 maybe.

            The guy can photograph, though. And knows his way around image editing. But he went too far on that as well - it looks unreal The guitar seems in great condition and with that color, you'd have a pretty special guitar.

                $800 is a bit much compared to what those typically fetch, but those guitars are worth it (IMO). The XLs were the pinnacle of Charvel imports.

                  Yeah I agree on the price being high, but i do think it is exceptionally nice, plus the original Charvel chainsaw case. He isn't going to let it go for the 800.00 so I am moving on.

                      But the 650 wasn't the rarest of the Charvel imports, that has to go to the 750 archtops, an ultra expensive guitar with fewer in existence.

                        LOL, thats funny stuff. The guy that has the Black one listed at 599.00 also has a white one. Maybe if I find one for you then you can leave the ones I want alone LOL
