Okay, so I am slumming the pawn shops this week and I find a red Peavey Nitro, with case, Floyd Rose tremolo and and everything works for 100 on Friday and can't believe my luck, thinking that I will never find a deal as good as this again and pick her up. Not a Charvel or Jackson, but American and cheap. Dropped her off at Alan's my luthier for a bath and a set up and went to Guitar Center to look for a stand and I walk in and there she is. Flame top 475, toothpaste logo and all looking at me with a rosewood neck and shark fin in lays. Next thing I know I am "negotiating price", better known as SOLD! 300 with a road runner bag and tremelo. Serial number is 361908, and its on hold until the 28th but its all mine, I love the way it plays and I will post photos once she's home. I don't know much about the 475 model or where to look. Can someone enlighten me? Or better yet, point me to a site on the history of this style? And, of course, what are your opinions on this deal?
