Ed Roman probably has some, he has everything.

If you can live with the strong euro and shipping costs then Amfisound is the right place:

They made Chris the megazone model that he currently uses.

GMW. Lee has made a couple star models. Send him an email and see what he has to say.

Yeah, GMW would probably be the most economic way other than building it yourself. And Lee does great work. But, if you want a strat or JC pointy head, then GMW won't do it.

            Won't Jackson CS do that?

I like that "Rhodium" guitar. It reminds me of another famous guitar, but I can't recall which one...

GREAT question! I can't imagine why you wouldn't put in a c/s order. Might as well ask if anyone makes Ace Frehley style guitars.

couldn't you just splatter a Charvel star with yellow and black paint and then beat the holy hell out of it with a hammer? Or were you wanting a non-distressed version?
In the future though I need to remember to not buy guitars while on Nyquil

                        Sarcastic answer?

If you are trying to say that the request for a Star with 1 hum and a tun o matic is not doable, I could not see why not. The OP didn't ask for a CH replica, I couldn't see them not doing it.

He didn't specify paint or anything artist similar in the post.

Not quite the same as asking for a unique shape, like a Frehley model.

actually not being sarcastic at all. i think it's silly NOT to put in a c/s order for it. my guess is that the OP wants the guitar without paying the price for the real deal, but that's me being a cynical tool.

                            oh.
                            Ok. Gotcha.

This is the 2nd thread this week where someone wanted to know how to get a Jackson without going Jackson.

Would seem to be the wrong place to ask those questions.

It's just kind of a stupid thing to do, IMO.

"Hey, Jackson board people - where should I go if I don't want to get a Jackson, but want to get a Jackson?"

                              Get a Jackson.
