And this is truly my own opinion. I cannot stand fenders. I especially cannot stand fenders since I had my hand operated on. But, I love thier tone. I decided a little while ago that I was going to build my own strat so, myself and Darksaga sat down and ordered the peices for my own Strat. I think we gave fender a black eye because this thing kicks complete ass. All warmoth parts. Wizard profile neck, Chambered fender body, Kinman Pickups... all quality parts.

I couldn't trust the side truss rod adjuster though.
A lot of the Yamaha RGX-TT's had problems with them from what I've read.
I guess treat it with kid gloves.

Is that a 25.5" scale on the neck or did you go for something shorter, given your hand surgery?

Does the area for the truss rod adjustment feel unusual when you play higher up the neck or do you really not notice it?

I went with a standard strat scale with the wizard profile with an earvana nut. As for the question about cost. It was a fraction of what a custom fender would cost. You would never catch a fender that looked like this one for the price I put it together for. Let me try to guestimate the costs because I dont have the reciepts anymore. As for the side adjustment, I have not noticed any issues with it at all. One thing I would like to mention, it is a hell of a lot better then removing the neck and doing micro adjustments and putting it back on to see if you got it right =)

The Body was around 575
The Neck was around 470
rest of the shit was around 500

So, yeah, you are looking for around 1600.00 But, I got exactly what I wanted and it playes like butter. Warmoth makes some damn good looking peices.

And that is a nice looking axe. The natural binding around the tummy contour looks a little wonky in that one pic - is it smooth in person?
