  • Custom Strat - Made By JCF'r

Thought I would share a very cool experience with my fellow JCF'rs...

Johnny Mac did this one for me from the ground up. Check out the nitro finish with age cracks. He did a great job on this guitar - it has become my #1 out of 3 strats I use for gigs.

Body- 3.2 LB one-piece ash. Nitro hand rubbed Mary Kaye blonde finish.
Neck- 5A birdseye, Compound radius 10"-16", Brazilian Rosewood board, Dunlop #6000 frets, Bakelite clay dots. Locking Kluson tuners.
Lindy Fralin Blues Special set with 5% overwind and bridgeplate.
Finished guitar weights in a 6lbs, 11 ozs.

Johnny Mac exceeded my expectations with this guitar.

The damn battery on my camera will not recharge. So, until I can get a new one, I'll just say that I'll put my Mac Strat up against any master built Fender ever produced.

Is that a USACG body he used? Sure looks like it to me looking at the routings.
I've built two killer strats using their stuff top notch all the way.

For the life of me, I can't find the damned spec sheet. My battery won't charge. I don't want to go to work tomorrow and on top of everything, Maynard's cracking jokes about blowing his own junk on his blossoming chest! I need a fucking vacation!
