I saw and felt (briefly) the Custom at the NAMM show, felt great and seemed to be high quality, I definitely wouldn't mind getting one of them. If I remember correctly they said they wouldn't be out for several months though: http://www.garykramerguitar.com/Custom.html
Hey, I'm not really a fan of the shapes so much, but they look like exceptionally well made pieces. Plus, it's nice to see someone trying something a little different.
No disrespect to Gary Kramer, but these guitars ain't Kramers.
His story is kind of similar to Wayne Charvel's--Gary bowed out of the Kramer company within the first year of their existence, (1976) and I don't think they parted ways amicably. At least Wayne knows a thing or two about building guitars. These "Delta Wings" etc--the higher end ones are made in US by a luthier named Leo Scala, but the majority are made in Korea.
