  • Is Brawley back as Laguna Guitars?

Anybody remember Brawley guitars? They went down with Mars music. These new Laguna Guitars sure do look like the Brawley guitars. Same exact headstock.

I remember playing a Brawley Threat at Mars music and it played really well.
Don't forget the corn. It's nutritious, delicious, and ribbed for her pleasure.

A dual-action truss rod is some sort of new innovation?
Takeoffs are optional but landings are mandatory.

The G/C in Charleston had quite a few of them last week, the necks felt kind of chunky. The acoustics however sounded great.

I remember checking out a couple of Brawleys at Mars years ago. Cool guitars that reminded me of some of the Jackson/Charvel "oddballs" in a way, but that headstock is terrible. Our bassist has a Brawley that is nice for the $400 or so it cost him.

I tried a few Brawleys that were pretty awesome a few years ago. Then a few were dogs. If I were thinking of a Laguna (and they seem like bang for the buck), and want to get my paws on it and try before buying. I wouldn't do it online!

the bodies remind me of Brian Moore guitars.
                price point is attractive.
                the headstocks are heinous though.
the guitar players look damaged - they've been outcasts all their lives

The headstock looks like a shark.
I kinda like it. May be looking for a SSH in ash as a beater.
