  • So I bought yet another 7 string

was looking around on Guitar center online used last week and couldn't
believe the price on this thing so I
called and talked to the store manager and got it on thursday.
    Schecter Black Jack 7.

This thing could've been sold as brand new, not a single mark on it.
I polished up the frets and oiled the fret board (guitar Honey, stuff rocks!)
restrung it with D'Addario 10 -56 and I'm good to go.
Amazing how well this guitar sounds and plays , I love the 26.5 scale for
playing rythm on a 7, it just keeps the low notes so nice and sharp.

Anyone thinking about "trying" a 7 and don't want to spend a lot, I
highly recommend looking for one of these used. This is a nice guitar,
I'm absolutely floored at what you get for the cost.
Probably the best bang for the buck 7 out there.

Came with a brand new RoadRunner Case
If this is our perdition, will you walk with me?

Nice one! Congrats. It should compliment your Carvin nicely. I'm saving my pennies for a Rusty Cooley Dean, even though I'm not crazy on the graphics it comes with.

Ya I guess you could say that . I like the additional range
you get with these things and being able to do things like play a 3 octive arp in one position is pretty cool.
they've opened up a whole new way of looking at the fret board for me
and I've just really taken to it.

Looks great. Schecters are a great company to buy because they aren't too well known so they stay low in price, and you end up with a savage guitar.

Looks nice. They have one at one of my local stores used. I'll have to try it out.

Maybe on the Emerald Isle, but they're ridiculously popular in the US right now. The low cost comes straight from their Korean manufacturing.

They are becoming more popular here as I'm seeing a lot of people mentioning them on the net here but they haven't got many guitars here. Most people round here are pretty gear ignorant and if its not a huge brand they don't know what they are looking at. I got my C7 Hellraiser used with a case for less than €500, thats not much here for a guitar with emgs/tonepros/grover gear in it. A new Epi LP without case goes for about 600.
These guitars play really nice, I'm not joking my SL2 has been sitting unplayed for over a week now and the only other guitar with me at the moment is my Schecter.

You aren't lying. I've got my Blackjack dialed in now the way I like it and
It plays like butter. Sounds amazingly too.
