    Help my father in law has a SG I think It was bought by him Used In 1961 its cherry REd and all it says is Gibson on the neck its a neck thru and on the back of the tuners the say deluxe its model# 39082 22 frett I am not sure could it be a les paul jr? he also has a gibson skylark GA-5T 107034 tube amp is this stuff worth much? I am trying to pics up now through photo bucket haveing some trouble thank you JK

      What type of pickup/s does it have. If it has one P-90 in the bridge it's a Les Paul Junior. Does it have a large or small pickguard? What type of controls does it have. Regardless of what type of SG/Les Paul you have, if it's a '61 it's worth a lot of money. Even Les Paul Junior's are going for up to $5,000.00 depending on condition.

          Go ask Pete Townshend, he used those as his main guitars during the late sixties and well into the seventies.
