As for the guitars... the warrior is more expensive than a js30wr and has no unique features, but the KV at least has a Floyd so that's kind of cool

You mean all the Chinese "products" that you KNOW OF!
Because what is actually chinese made that we are not aware of
would make it nearly impossible to live boycotting everthing!
Its about 5 times worse than you think! Harley Davidson, Ford,

Yep, I'm amazed by how pervasive Chinese products have become. I bought a table cheap on clearance from a high end furniture store. Big, heavy oak fucker. Got it home and when pulled out the drawer the tag said made in China. I would have thought it would cost more to ship something like that from China than what I paid for it...?

the fan (for example) on your pc, the bits & bobs on your amp. plus many other things that can't be checked can be made in Chine. So. it's pointless really to steer away.

By the way, producing the fakes is officially prohibited in China, just the goverment cannot (ore doesn't want to) control it effectively. But time to time "real" manufacturers trace the fakers and point them out and then the factories are closed by Chineese authorites (and staff is arrested). But the guitar vendors doesn't bother much I guess.
