  • No intentions of coming home with a new guitar last night but...

I fell in love with this.
There probably won't be much love for semi hollows here, but I like them for a change of pace.
It's a Michael Kelly Deuce Phoenix.
Sound great acoustically and plugged in.

Well, I'm not a real tech head, but I can tell you I'm pretty impressed with it.
It feels real solid, nothing flimsy or weak. Sitting around playing it without an amp, you get a nice tone from it, not thin and real twangy.I would compare the neck to a average Gibson Explorer type, Grover tuners, fretboard seems to be nice a smoooth. According to the website it just says PAF style pickups, but they have a nice full sound, especially in the neck, I was taken back when I switch over to it. I don't use the neck pu to much, but when I do I want ia big difference in tone, and this definately did.
Again, I'm not really good at the tech end of it, but I hope this helps.
Let me know if you want anything more specific.
I got it for $440 last night around 7pm, and at least right now it seems well worth it.

Wow. Micahel Kelly guitars always look great. Never played one though. Hopw you enjoy it. I'm not a semi hollow fan, but I would have one of those in a minute.
