Wayne guitars old vs. new vs. GMW

I've heard some talk that the older Waynes are better than the new ones. I've also heard that some of the Wayne guitars were dogs. Please discuss.

I've been considering a Wayne, but I'm kind of sceptical. I have a GMW and if any one could compare the two that would be great. I have not played a better playing guitar than my GMW. I love the feel of the neck. I'm considering a Wayne because you don't see to many GMW's for sale and I'd like to keep my options open for a cool graphic, but if the concensous is the Wayne can't hang w/ a GMW than I'll wait.

I personally love older Waynes and own five, but I also own GMW's, Fenders, etc.....AND god forbid, actual Charvels!

But seriously, do a search. This has only been covered like 500 times this year alone.....
