That maple is solid, one piece all the way through,the back looks like the front. That was a fun project.

I'll have to take some headstock pics, the strat has a tele head. Since I did a lot of the work on the maple guitar, I shaped the head myself, it's actually pretty Charvel 'rounded'-ish. There's something else special about the ash strat; according to Lynn, it's very likely from the same plank as the original EVH norhern ash 'strat'. -that probably doesn't add much to the value, but still a cool story, too bad he can't remember with 100% certainty.
