I have never played one, but have heard the quality is not that good. I heard ever since Sr. died it has been all down hill.

Your thinking of BC Rich. Bernie Jr Guitars is a new company that started well after Bernie Sr. death. I've heard they are good but that the designs are still a little bit sketchy. Prices are pretty competitive though for what you get.

How did I know that I was going to be mistaken about that??? No, I dont mean B.C. Rich. I am talking about Bernie jr. guitars. Like I said I never played one but have heard the quality is not the best. Even when he was running BC Rich after SR death there were quality issues.

There are usually a few on Ebay at any given moment. The Vixens look very nice. I'm not a fan of the headstocks though.

Drum City Guitar Land has a few nice ones too.

I really like the Vixen, the headstock really fits that evil King V scheme...those other bodyshapes are a bit too much for me to handle though

                      Re: Bernie Rico Jr

I played most of the Rico Jrs on display at NAMM. They were all very well built and played nicely. The neck profile was in between what I consider a standard BCR and a Jackson. Not too thick, not too thin.

For the record, the handmade BCRs at NAMM this year were excellent and very well built. Over the last 4 years I think the NAMM guitars have been ok. 2 years ago they all had very high action and some cosmetic flaws. Last years were good and this year's were the best by far.

And for the record, Sr never built guitars.
