• Lynch Bengal project is done

I finished this one today. It plays pretty good for just slapping it together I'll let get acclimated to being bolted on the body and string tension before I adjust the neck and intonate.

It is hard to photo but there is more orange/yellow in the middle than the pics show.

Specs are

Body off of eBay, already painted (pretty good but not perfect)
Musikraft one piece maple neck oiled neck
Reverse strat headstock, 6100's, chunky C shape profile (baseball bat)
1 3/4 nut
Gotoh reverse tuners
Gold OFR
DiMarzio Tonezone (crème)
1 Volume (500k pot)
funky charvel logo

I personally do not care how it was built as long as it is a good playing/sounding instrument.

Cool Shawn! Looks like your addicted to building guitars as I am. I have 4 projects in the works right now. I'm putting together a Kamikaze IV LE. It's going to be neat and it will be my first time painting graphics. I know I can do it! Nice color too!

That looks great!
I want to do something like that to my Jackson, but unfortunately I don't have the skills.

Re: Lynch Bengal project is done

thanks guys.

Bengal651, I'm actually not addicted to building, I quit doing them altogether for a while. After I got my first GMW strathead, I don't like anything pointy anymore so I in the process of phasing out the pointys, swapping necks etc. I have 3 more bodies in paint right now and once I get those back and slapped together the only thing I'd do is replace a few more necks. I want to play guitar not build them I have gotten fairly good at it over the years tho One thing I won't do anymore is shoot paint, too much time and labor involved.
